“What’s at stake?” is an often-asked question, but what does it really mean?
In “Alternate State of Affairs” and its sequel, “Reach for the Stars,” saving humanity from a horrific weapon of mass destruction is the sole mission for Steven, Avra, and Cindy, the spiritual eyeless doll. Everything is at stake!
Then, when all seems most dire and things can’t get worse—it does—when an unknown enemy from afar enters the melee. Catastrophic! Apocalyptic! Everything is at stake.
Thankfully, these are novels…fables of sorts…or are they? The lines drawn between reality and fiction are varied and vague. The blurring between veracity and fabrication can be overwhelming. Is it a tall tale or the brutal truth?
Unfortunately, Israel and Jews around the world are facing another Holocaust where their radical extremist neighbors have dedicated their demons to the destruction of this tiny democratic country and the killing of Jews everywhere. Iran is the master terrorist…funding and directing the atrocities.
So ask yourself…when your children have been butchered and beheaded; your wives and daughters raped and slaughtered; grandparents and babies burned alive in their homes; and hundreds of innocents taken hostage—This is real! What’s at stake?
When rockets rain down from every direction whose sole purpose is to kill civilians—This is real! What’s at stake?
When riots break out all over the world, chanting, “Death to the Jews.”—
This is real! What’s at stake?
Everything!
